On Le Sanctuaire property, the plots are facing south–southwest and are located on steep slopes.
The clay and limestone soil is perfectly suited to Merlot, which is the only variety in this area. Only the vine is somewhat different on the properties of Montagne Saint-Emilion, we find Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Cabernet Franc in lesser proportion (5%). Merlot when to rest it for 80% majority.
